Launching Ipad Application – Felipe Motta Wine Store
CometBits is currently launching an application under the IOS platform for use on the iPad that provides wine suggestions to its users. It was developed for Felipe Motta Wine Store.
The application consists of a great wine list, sorted into different categories. On the left side we find the list of categories, including these: • Wine with meals • Wines for the occasion • The taste of wine • Wines by Country. Each category has its list of options to choose from.
In addition to wines, the application consists of a list of stores where you can get the different wines you want. Each store displays their address, telephone, email and opening hours.
If the user wants to get a specific type of wine or have a dollar limit to consume, they can perform advanced search on the wine they prefer. For this, Felipe Motta IPAD application has the search option, which provides the user with a list of the best wine recommendations more easily.
The application displays a list of wines with the characteristics mentioned above.

LLENEMOS DOS WEMBLEYS POR VALENCIA.
For the Champions League final played on Saturday 27th of May, 2011 we became part of a National TV Channel campaign to support the ecuadorian soccer player Antonio Valencia, who played for the Manchester United.
Through social networks like Facebook and Twitter we start promoting the match, showing pictures of Valencia, of the Manchester United, asking questions to the fans, giving away some wallpapers and keep them with fresh news about the players and the teams.
Then we create a social application in Facebook called ¡Dale+Valencia! with a very interesting concept! The idea was to fill a virtual Wembley stadium to support the Ecuadorian soccer star and to give the ecuadorians the opportunity to be part of the match too, even if it was in the virtual world.
In just one week, people were encouraged to join the fanpage of the TV Channel, that was going to broadcast the match, and start supporting "Valencia" having a seat in the virtual stadium with their friends.
The application simulates a Wembley Stadium and allowed users to take a seat in any of the stands. Users could select any available seat in the stadium and sit with friends or others who were out there.
Once seated at Wembley stadium, users could show their support for Valencia inviting their friends to enter the application, commenting on the Facebook wall and even make a "wave" as ecuadorians usually do in a stadium.
With a total of 108,246 users, this is the first application to have this numbers in one week in Ecuador. It was possible to simulate more than a full Wembley Stadium to show support for Valencia.
On the other hand, on twitter the hashtag #YoEnWembley was created to show our support to Valencia and describe what would you (as an ecuadorian) do if you were really sitting at Wembley Stadium.
